Daniel Bryan–Fate or just Bad Luck?

Once again our dearly loved Daniel Bryan is out of action again due to injury. What does the future hold for Bryan and where can he go from here, will he ever compete in the ring again?

Bryan is a well loved superstar. He is the epitome of what hard work does and where it gets you. He has worked for everything he has ever wanted and has been reward for it kindly. But what is to be come of our beloved Bryan?

As we recall nearly a year ago Bryan had to have surgery to correct a neck injury he had been suffering from for some time, the surgery was for all intent and purpose successful but the rehab wasn't going as well as expected. Remember it was touch and go if we were to even see Bryan back in action again after such major surgery, we only have to look at Edge to know that this type of injury could quite well be game over at any time.

With Bryan out of action and only a few weeks after the pinnacle match of his career winning the WWE WHC at WM30 Bryan was subsequently stripped of the title as he wasn't able to compete ( a bit rich seeing as Brock Lesnar defended the title only 3 times during his reign) it would be 9 months before Bryan would announce his return to competition at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

I was apprehensive of Bryan’s return, after reading up on the surgery he’d had done i wasn't very optimistic he would last very long, fast forward to WM31.

At WM 31 Bryan was booked in a 6 man ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship, which he won to deafening “Yes” chants from the arena. However it would be here that Bryan’s injury would return to haunt him even more.

It has been suggested that Bryan was hurt during the WWE Live European tour and was subsequently sent home due to Concussion. A valid medical reason for some one to be sent home, but very very unusual for someone like Bryan, and it instantly rang alarm bells with me that his injury has worsened or its back to how it was pre-operative surgery in 2014.

Bryan was out of action for a few weeks, he returned to RAW to announce his relinquishment of the IC title he won at WM31 and went on to mention that he may be out for weeks, months or he may never be able to compete again. As you can imagine the Cincinnati crowd erupted in chants of “No” and “Thank you Daniel”

With the way Bryan looked, it was evident that his past injuries have returned to haunt him, and this time it may just well be a permanent fixture for him and finally end his career entirely.

I hope this isn't the case, and that Bryan can return soon and as fast as is possible, but this recent even will now cause worry amongst creative writers within WWE as to whether Bryan can carry a title belt again now that he has had to relinquish two titles in as little over a year apart from each other.

Its a crushing blow for the every popular Bryan, who entertains us every week without fail. I only sit in hope, albeit a fools hope, that he recovers from this latest injury and is back where he should be as soon as is humanly possible. But i have major doubts this time round, and actually feel that this is finally the time we all say #ThankyouDaniel
